The Beautiful Yellowish Flower, Daffodil
Daffodil flower is the
flower that lived in Europe, Asia, and the North Africa. This flower is called
as the Nation flower of Wales Country, in United Kingdom. And in North
America, this flower is called as Jonguil flower. This daffodil flower is come
from Mediterania but now it has been cultivated by some countries as ornamental
flower.
If we describe about
flowering plant, of course we will tell about the taxonomy of this plant.
Daffodil flowering plant has scientific name as Narcissus.
They are from the
kingdom, Plantae; Division, Magnoliophyta; Class, Liliopsida;
Ordo, Asparagales; Family, Amaryllidaceae; Genus, Narcissus L. And they also have
many of species. Now, it is notable by more than one hundred species. Daffodil
plant has flowered when it come spring. So, when we go to Wales when spring
comes, we will see a large yellow park in everywhere. Why I say in everywhere?
Because as I know from some information, daffodil flowers are not only lived in
some parks, but also in the land beside the road. So, Wales becomes a yellow area.

The
characteristic of this flower is so unique. If in Indonesian, it’s like a
trumpet form. And it is rounded by six leaves. The color of this flower is
yellow, but in some species, their colors are white, orange, and pink. This
flower’s tall is 2 feet, or for about 60 cm. As information, all of Narcissus
flowers are poisonous. It based on the true story of some students in England
who gotten sick when they mixed some extract of daffodil flower in their soup.
And tragically, if we consumed much of daffodil flowers, we will be died.
